2009 Insurance Institute
In 2009 UCA and the Griffith Foundation for Insurance Education, offered two Insurance Education Institutes. One in Arkansas and the other in Nebraska. The Arkansas Institute began online in March and concluded on-campus in June. The Nebraska Institute also began online in March and concluded with an onsite meeting at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Omaha Branch. Bonnie Sibert, the State Supervisor of Business, Marketing and Management with the Nebraska Department of Education deserves all of the credit for making the Nebraska Institute the most successful, in terms of participation, in the history of the institutes. Our host for the on-site meeting in Omaha was Mrs. Jennifer Clark, President of the Nebraska Financial Education Coalition, and Public Affairs Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank.
