UCA's Insurance Education Institute
The University of Central Arkansas has been offering Insurance Education Institutes since 2004.  UCA's Insurance Education Institutes provide junior high and high school teachers with the information and tools they need to teach these concepts to their students and make them aware of the career opportunities in insurance and risk management.

UCA's Insurance Education Institutes are virtually free to eligible teachers thanks to the generosity of the Griffith Foundation for Insurance Education, Columbus, Ohio.

UCA's Insurance Education Institutes are designed for teachers who will integrate insurance into their financial literacy curriculum or another subject such as business, consumer education, economics, social science, family and consumer science, mathematics, or driver’s education.
As a result of UCA's Insurance Institutes the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education developed frameworks for an insurance course.  Now many Arkansas schools are offering semester-long courses in insurance.
